Alfonso has over 7 years’ experience working in higher education, as a Career Counselor, and as an adjunct professor.

Alfonso graduated from SUNY Buffalo State with a dual Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Economics. In 2015, Mr. Bravo graduated from Boricua College with a Master in Human Services with honors cum laude. He is currently enrolled in the CUNY School of Professional Studies pursuing a Master of Arts in Youth Studies.

Alfonso started with the New York City Paralegal Association in 2017. A year later he was voted for the position of Scholarship Committee Chairperson, a position he held for a year. In May 2020, Mr. Bravo was approved to hold his present office of Job Bank Coordinator. Mr. Bravo currently works at the Borough of Manhattan Community College as an Internship Specialist. He supports students in career exploration, setting career goals, internship search techniques, and resume writing. Mr. Bravo has experienced the power of effective mentoring, so he strives to be an effective mentor and positive influence like those who have come before him.
