Support the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) and its partners with a multi-day event that will provide immigrants with consular ID services; information about various social, educational, health, financial and/or legal resources/services; emergency preparedness kits; and more!
 

• Dates: September 30 - October 4 (volunteer for any days you are available for; see online volunteer form for shifts)
• Location: P.S. 253, 1307 Central Avenue, Far Rockaway, NY 11691
• Volunteer Responsibilities: support general logistics (e.g., registration, ushering) and/or interpretation; must be fluent in Spanish and/or Haitian-Creole

The New York Immigration Coalition is an umbrella policy and advocacy organization for nearly 200 groups in New York State that work with immigrants and refugees. The NYIC aims to achieve a fairer and more just society that values the contributions of immigrants and extends opportunity to all by promoting immigrants’ full civic participation, fostering their leadership, and providing a unified voice and a vehicle for collective action for New York’s diverse immigrant communities.
