Support the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC), New York State's Civilian Emergency Response Corps (CERC), and Friends of Far Rockaway in rebuilding a home in Far Rockaway that was damaged by Superstorm Sandy.
Date: Saturday, February 20 @ 10am - 3:30pm
Location: Far Rockaway - the specific address will be announced shortly before the service date and will be accessible via public transportation
Volunteer Role: Rebuilding - tasks may include sanding, mudding/spackling, framing, drywall, flooring, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and/or roofing services. No building/construction experience is necessary
