BWJP Webinar: Parenting in the Context of Coercive Control

http://www.bwjp.org/our-training-and-services/webinar-parenting-context-coercive-control.html.

Recent years have seen a growing awareness that parenting in the context of domestic violence does not look the same in all families or under all circumstances – and that inattention to these variations can undermine effective parenting arrangements following separation.  Family court practice must account for the myriad ways in which parenting in the context of domestic violence is enacted and experienced by individual people, including children and their separating parents.  This session will offer guidance on identifying, understanding and accounting for the effects of coercive control on post-separation parenting and co-parenting.
