Hispanic Federation Citizenship Drives:

Hispanic Federation is funded by the Department of Youth and Community Development to organize a series of monthly Citizenship Drives and we would love your support!

We are currently recruiting bilingual (English/Spanish) general volunteers (and pro-bono attorney volunteers). You will help provide much needed assistance to community members as they complete their citizenship applications.

Where: Hispanic Federation offices, 55 Exchange Place, Suite 501, New York, NY 10005

Friday, April 19th (9:00am - 6:00pm)  @ HF

Wednesday, April 24th (9:00am - 6:00pm)  @ HF

Thursday, May 9th (9:00am - 6:00pm)  @ HF

Thursday, May 23rd (9:00am - 6:00pm)  @ HF

Friday, June 7th (9:00am - 6:00pm)  @ HF

Friday, June 21st (9:00am - 6:00pm)  @ HF

Lunch will be served!

The extent of volunteer tasks includes direct community engagement via application assistance. Volunteers will be provided training on how to input needed info on a digital application form which will be on a laptop. Printing and copying documentation will also be needed. Non-attorney volunteers will be provided a training at the beginning of the citizenship drives to assist community members complete their N-400 Citizenship Applications.

As most community members will be Spanish speakers we will require that all volunteers be bilingual (English-Spanish).
