In the midst of a wider housing crisis around the United States, an increasing number of low-income older adults are struggling to find – and keep – affordable rental housing. Understanding the various and overlapping programs offering rental housing assistance can be a daunting task for older adults and advocates alike. This free legal basics webinar will outline the primary housing challenges faced by older adults and provide an overview of the major federally subsidized housing programs available to low-income seniors, with an emphasis on eligibility requirements and tenants’ rights.
