JANUARY 2020 SOCIAL & NETWORKING EVENT
SALSA DANCE AND MIXER WITH
Join us for our January Social Networking event and learn the basics of Salsa dancing. We have partnered with our friends at the ARMA Metro NYC Chapter for this year's meet & greet being hosted at a dance studio in midtown.
The ARMA Metro NYC chapter member, Louis Tirado, will be leading an instructional class to introduce you to the basics of dancing Salsa. The first half of class will be focused on exercises in basic Salsa movements and solo dance steps that you can incorporate into your Salsa routines. In the second part of the class you will learn partnerwork, such as the basic open and closed positions, leading and following turns. After the instructional session there will be free dance time to practice your new moves and mingle with your friends and peers.
Planning to leave your dancing shoes at home? That's okay too, we will have a lounge area for relaxing and networking. Light refreshments and food will be provided.
