Unmapped: Migrant Stories of New York Writing Competition
Do you have or does your family have a migration experience you want to share? Here's your chance to be published!
The International Organization for Migration and Fordham University invite writers of all ages and backgrounds to submit original non-fiction essays or memoirs, short fiction, or poetry showcasing the experiences of migrants and migration in New York. They are looking for untold stories about how New York has shaped and been shaped by new (and old) arrivals.
The Unmapped: Migrant Stories of New York writing competition is open to current New York residents. You do not need to be a U.S. citizen to apply. An independent selection jury will select and review entries. The best will be published as part of the first Unmapped collection.
