CUNY Citizenship Now! is gearing up for the next citizenship application assistance event. We thank volunteers who have already registered to attend the event. The event will take place at Vanderveer Park United, Methodist Church on Saturday, August 11th and is cosponsored by Council Member Jumaane D. Williams. At our previous event with Council Member Williams in June of last year, we helped 150 applicants determine if they were eligible for citizenship. We want to match that number this year, so please consider coming out and helping New York's immigrant community on their path to citizenship.
The event will take place at 3114 Glenwood Road in Brooklyn. The event starts at 11 a.m., but we ask volunteers to please arrive at 10 a.m. to sign in, enjoy breakfast, and receive a brief orientation.
Please note that you must RSVP using the link in this email in order to volunteer at this event. If you wish to attend, please RSVP promptly. As usual, Spanish speaking volunteers are especially needed.
