This seminar will cover many interrelated topics, including Terrorism, Terrorist Financing, Drug Trafficking, Money Laundering, Tax Evasion, Violation of U.S. Economic Sanctions Laws and the Ownership of Legal Entities. These issues are, or should be, at the forefront of our minds, as they have all affected us in dramatic ways, from the initial bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993, to the destruction of the World Trade Center, to possible future attacks. Ian will talk about how the perpetrators of terrorist and of illegal activity in general are manipulating our existing system of corporate entities for their purposes and just what out government is doing to try to thwart them. In addition, he’ll discuss how proposed changes will affect you and I in the legal world, and just which and how many government agencies are involved.
