Angelica Duran has been a paralegal since 2004, bringing nearly two decades of experience in transactional real estate law. Her practice focuses on representing commercial and residential lenders, with extensive knowledge across all phases of real estate transactions.
In addition to real estate, Angelica has developed expertise in trust and estates, corporate law, and landlord–tenant litigation, allowing her to support clients and legal teams across a broad range of legal matters.
Angelica is a graduate of LaGuardia Community College, where she earned an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies with Honors and was named to the Dean’s List. She continues her academic pursuits at New York City College of Technology, where she is working toward a bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies.
Angelica has been an active leader within the New York City Paralegal Association (NYCPA). In November 2022, she was appointed Administrative Development Director for the NYCPA Board of Directors. Since May 2023, she has served as Vice President and Membership Chair, playing a key role in organizational growth and member engagement.
In November 2024, Angelica assumed the role of President of the New York City Paralegal Association. With over 19 years of experience in the legal field, she brings a strong commitment to professional development, advocacy, and leadership within the paralegal community.
