Tay M. is a current Board Member of the New York City Paralegal Association (NYCPA),

where she serves as Website Chairperson, Paralegal School Liaison Coordinator, and an active member of the Events Committee.

Tay brings a multidisciplinary background that bridges law, sports and entertainment. She holds degrees in Sports Management and has professional experience working within professional sports teams as well as serving as a sports publicist, where she supported brand strategy, media relations and athlete representation.

Her longstanding passion for sports and entertainment naturally led her to pursue a career at the intersection of these industries and the law.

Building on this foundation, Tay earned her Paralegal Certification from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2025, further solidifying her commitment to the legal profession. Her academic training, combined with hands-on experience in law firm environments, has shaped her dedication to advocacy, mentorship and creating access to career-building resources for both aspiring and practicing paralegals. She is currently preparing to enter law school in 2026, with the goal of expanding her impact within the legal and professional communities.

As Website Chairperson, Tay oversees NYCPA’s digital presence, ensuring the Association’s platforms remain informative, accessible and reflective of its mission. In her role as Paralegal School Liaison Coordinator, she works closely with the CLE Committee Chairperson to maintain relationships with New York–based paralegal programs, serve as a resource for students and promote NYCPA’s mentorship initiatives.As a member of the Events Committee, Tay assists in planning and executing educational, networking and fundraising events while cultivating relationships with law firms, legal departments, staffing agencies, venues, and industry partners.

Tay is deeply committed to strengthening the paralegal profession through education, mentorship, community engagement, and cross-industry collaboration.
