CUNY Citizenship Now! Additional Volunteer Opportunities

CUNY Citizenship Now! Events Team

Location: Manhattan, NY

Commitment per week: 4 hours (or more) per week; Any of the following days: Mon, Wed and Fri between 10 am and 5 pm 

Duration of Commitment: ASAP until March 31, 2017

Job Description: CUNY Citizenship Now's Events Team is looking for weekday help from one or two volunteers. From printing, collating and packing all the documents that will be distributed during an event to preparing any supplies needed, many things happen behind the scenes before each event and the Community Events Team makes it happen! Citizenship Now has a number of events coming up that require extra effort, and volunteer assistants will be a vital part of this team.

Responsibilities with the Events Team:

• Preparation for events
• Sorting and counting documents
• Labeling and packing materials
• • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Replenishment of supplies from Saturday events
