Register for CUNY/Daily News Citizenship Application Assistance Day

Dear Volunteers,

We are pleased to invite you to participate in our annual citywide CUNY/Daily News Citizenship Application Assistance Day! With your help, we aim to provide over 400 participants with naturalization assistance.

This year's event will be held on July 15th, 2017 at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Volunteers should plan to arrive at 9:00 a.m. for breakfast and a brief orientation. Participant appointments will begin at 10 a.m.

What role can you play at the citywide event?

Volunteers will be assigned to a number of different roles including: registration, waiting area, event flow, application assistance, fee waiver, copy station, and more! All volunteers play a crucial part in helping immigrant New Yorkers on their path to U.S. citizenship.

What else will you receive?

Besides providing valuable services for immigrants, volunteers will enjoy networking opportunities as well as a chance to participate in New York City's largest event to assist immigrant New Yorkers applying for citizenship. In advance of the event, materials with important information about logistics, policies and procedures will be emailed to you. Breakfast and lunch will also be provided at this event.
