Pro Bono: We Remember. We Support. We Walk.

  • 10 Nov 2013
  • 7:00 AM - 11:30 AM
  • Hudson River Park at Pier 84, NYC

The USO Remembrance Walk (5K) is an event to raise funds for the USO’s efforts to support those who protect our freedom every day.

Most importantly, the USO makes sure your support goes to those who need it most - troops serving in combat, their families, wounded warriors and their families, and the families of the fallen.

As a non-profit, non-political organization, the primary focus of the USO is now, and always will be our troops. Wherever and whenever they go, the USO will be there, until every one comes home.

Below are just a few examples of what your money can buy:

-   $500 could provide 20 care packages with the comforts of home.
-   $1,000 could provide 300 warm meals and a place to rest in our centers on the frontlines.
-   $2,000 would cover the costs of running one USO Center for a full day.
-   $5,000 could allow 600 parents to read their children a bedtime story through our United Through Reading Military Program.
-   $6,000 could build a bicycle for a wounded warrior to give them the freedom and ability to ride.

All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. The USO of Metropolitan New York is a 501(c)(3) organization.
